Established in 1992. Z-Fever is the brain child of mine. I am Doug Mitchell. When I was in college. I couldn't afford to pay people to work on my junker (a 1976 Datsun 280Z) that broke down all the time. So I used the learning skills I developed to buy books and study up on cars and how they worked. Tuned my DE and got fantastic gains, better mpg and 2 step is fantastic
Another Tampa "tuner" did $3500 worth of performance work to my z. I picked it up from the other shop and it was falling on its face. Fever Racing corrected the other shops negligence in under 2 hours (with no appointment on a Saturday) for a more than fair price and got my Z ready to complete my 450 mile drive home.
Dough has worked on several of my cars (including non Nissans) and I have never been short of amaized by the outcome. From repair to tuning and just getting good advise. I HIGHLY recommend Dough and his shop. Great work. Great people.
