Horrible customer service. Tried to keep deposit. WIFI sucks! No cell phone reception. Property dead and looks like a construction site.

To whom it may concern, My name is Joan *******, I own a timeshare with Festiva Orlando Resorts. I have been a vacation owner since 2005 and when I bought my timeshare, I bought it from Celebration World Resorts which was a part of Vacation Village at Parkway, which is where I wanted to buy my timeshare. I would first like to say that me and my wife have been timeshare owners and have paid all of our maintenance fees and property taxes to this company on time every year. My wife and I were fed a bunch of unnecessary lies in the beginning about the property of Celebration World resort. I think this property has been sold over the years more than once or twice and is now owed by Festiva Orlando Resort. I have had a terrible experience so. Zero communication from this company after I sent my paperwork off 5 months ago! Just to have them tell me now that they've destroyed original documents they requested and promised they'd return. Now they won't respond to any emails and refuse to give a phone number.

As a customer for over ten years it is so upsetting that during a pandemic, where I lost a business, contacted them several times where by the way, they say they have no record of my calls, tried to negotiate late fees because of hardship, I was met with nothing but a run around and no resolve. I have written to the "Board" by mail also with no response or resolve. Who in todays day and age doesn't have an upper management that you can call or at the very least email. I bought a timeshare based in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas from a member who was selling about ten years ago. It is a biennial use of a two-bedroom lockoff. Shortly after my purchase, I read that the six properties owned by ******************* had been sold to Festiva Resorts. I also read that litigation was proceeding by at least three states' attorneys general because of harassment and deceptive practices. Getting mixed up with Festiva Resorts was a terrible mistake on our part. We purchased our time share in 2012; at the time they had a very nice place in Banner Elk N.C. Unfortunately they lost this location which they had a lease agreement with another timeshare company. Since then all of our relations with Festiva has been completely negative; even if we wanted to stay with them it seems that every place is overbooked or totally unacceptable. sincerely, Raymond *******

Just read some of the comments about Festiva. Hard to believe a company like this can be in business. I thought that I was the only owner of a timeshare that had a problem. I guess misery loves company. I have been with Festiva since they bought the Shores, now called Escapes, in Orange Beach, Alabama. I agree with all the comments about very poor customer service. Festiva is the ABSOLUTE WORSE. I spoke to a senior manager, Carol, today and was very upset that Festiva could not resolve...no didn't even attempt to resolve...the problem that resulted from the lack of clarity and transparency from a Festiva representative during a recorded phone call October 2020. Ask Carol...she said she listened to the recording. Bottom line...we lost the vacation, we lost $978.25 in fees that would have given us a Festiva vacation, we lost any respect in Festiva which today proved to be a company wit... read more
