We called this place to ask if they had a part for my car we needed, they told us yes and that we could come the following day to get it. Mind you we live an hour and 30 minutes from here. We made the drive, arrived and the guy working told us “we have to have money before we even take parts out of our vehicles, we can try and have this done by tomorrow or latest next week” (which is understandable, but couldn’t have mentioned that on the phone?). They was pretty decent people. I think the scales for scrap copper was off only because I weighed it prior to going there. And the gave me a check for less than 70 bucks like wtf. You don't have 70 bucks in a drawer. So I go to Huntington bank where they bank and they want to charge me 10 bucks to cash the check. What this is a damn scam. And then they don't even cash it because they wanted two forms of id. My driver's license wasn't good enough for a 69 buck check.
