RecommendedToday, I called Fellow Mortals wildlife rehabilitation and spoke to Karen, about kit of bunnies that my dog found yesterday. I had renested them, and did find today, that one of 4, didn't survive. I brought an injured little nuthatch here yesterday. The staff is amazing and so compassionate, I felt completely reassured that the poor little birdie is in safe hands. They gave me a tour of the new Buchanan wing and even let me pick out an animal finger puppet to bring home to my nephew whose party I was missing! Please donate and help these angels take care of wounded wildlife ❤️❤️

I brought in 6 Mallard Ducklings that I rescued from a sewer a month ago and this past Monday a white footed mouse.

They took an injured duck. Not sure what happened to it, but at least they try. It’s heart breaking to see a helpless animal, if I can help I try to find someone to mend it. There are not many places out there.
I found a frantic gosling running in circles in the middle of a busy road, thankfully everyone stopped their cars. There were no other geese in sight , so I picked him/her up and brought him to the nearest Animal Hospital in Grayslake, IL. They didn't treat Wildlife, but they recommended Fellow Mortals.
