These are the hardest working, most compassionate, caring people I have ever had the privilege to know! They give me hope for humanity in the darkest of times. The care they show to the wild ones even after 10, 11, 12 hours working in a day is truly amazing. Never, not in a hospital for people, have I seen such tireless dedication to the patients!!
We rescued a baby bird only days old from our garage gutter and took him to our local Humane Society and they wanted to euthanize him because he was an invasive species. A sweet little baby bird. Luckily someone recommended I call here and I'm so glad we did. We drove 1 and a half hours to make sure poor baby could get some care. It looks like a bird oasis and I'm sure he will grow up to enjoy it. Staff was very kind. Highly recommended as they are knowledgeable and care for ALL animals not just the cute and cuddly ones.
The people at Fellow Mortals are amazing!! I dropped off two baby ducklings after a long night of keeping them warm, they got back to me bright and early. I'm so very glad we still have people out there that give so much back as most humans take so much from these animals.
Thank you so much for taking in Pidgersons! I know he'll be in great hands!
I had an injured bird and called and left a message like they said after driving all the way out there and NEVER heard back from them. Very disappointed!
