I was extremely pleased with the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism of the nurse, the anesthesiologist and my physician, Dr. Sullivan, during my recent appointment at Gastroenterology of Tidewater’s Chesapeake location. They happily explained everything they were doing. The office staff in setting up my appointment and handling paperwork were also great to deal with. I was also very pleased with how quickly and efficiently they all handle things. I couldn’t recommend them any more highly.

Very caring, understanding and wants to figure out why I am sick and losing weight rapidly and having stomach issues. Explained in detail what to expect, which procedures I am having done, and how we will proceed together from there in a diagnosis and treatment plan. Very respectful and very professional.

I've had Dr. Sullivan conduct preventative colonoscopies on me on two occasions over the past five years. Due my having no spouse, family, I always choose to have the procedure done with no sedation. People hear this and cringe.I tell everyone, Dr. Sullivan has an exceptional bedside manner.I never felt uncomfortable before, during or after procedures.
