I had a great experience with Doctors Ngai and Deng at Sequoia Eye Group. I had cataract surgery done on both eyes and there were difficulties with my first surgery due to the way my eye was, but Doctor Ngai handled it skillfully and the Sequoia Eye Group staff helped me with the recovery. My second surgery has routine and I've recovered quickly. I now have 20/20 vision. I highly recommend Sequoia Eye Group.

I cannot recommend Dr. Ngai highly enough. After months of seeing various providers who weren't able to figure out what was happening with my eye, Dr. Ngai was the one who took a step back, looked at the bigger picture, and ordered the right tests that finally led to the right diagnosis. His clinical judgment and care made all the difference. Thoughtful, attentive, and the kind of doctor who genuinely listens. So grateful to have him as my eye doctor.

From the moment I walked into the office, I knew this practice was different. Everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. Brought my mother in for cataract and glaucoma surgery. The staff is a diverse group who all are helpful. The staff does speak Spanish so It made my mother feel at home. Thank you you all for the kind work you did for my mother.

The professionalism is so evident in the well-oiled procedures used in this practice. You feel very well taken care of. Dr. Ngai is not only competent, his interpersonal skills are phenomenal. I've never had an MD be so thorough, clear, and empathetic in their efforts to help you with decision-making. So glad I chose him for my cataract surgery, which, BTW, went very well.
