I paid $25 for expedited delivery to have my package arrive on Thursday, the day before I left town. The delivery driver did not leave the package or even contact to see if I was around, just stuck a note and said pick it up tomorrow but I’m not around at that time as I paid for the delivery specifically to have it for vacation. Absolutely terrible experience with FedEx. I was home the entire day, yet instead of delivering my package, FedEx simply left a note on my door stating that the parcel would be available for pickup after 5:30 PM at the Chain Lake Dr. location. They didn’t even bother to ring the doorbell or call — just slapped the note on the door and left. The next day, I drove to the specified address, only to be told that the package wasn’t there and couldn’t be found using the door tag number. FedEx Canada gives the worst customer service possible. They do not follow your instructions properly and have internal communication issues. Just avoid them and use other courier services like Canada Post.
