Baklava Heaven!!! – Even though the name is decidedly German, as are many of the shops in this part of the city at the crossroads of S. Hampton, Gravois, and Laclede Station, this bakery has the best baklava I have ever had. Federhofer's Bakery usually offers 4 or 5 different flavors of this Greek pastry and all are delicious. heard bad things about St George – Don't drive to this place. I'm sure it's nice but it's located in the STL suburb of St. George (ZIP 63123), a notorious speedtrap and if you google "st. george, mo police" you'll find out how nasty their cops are.
