Fat Matts was pretty goid but so expensive and little food for the price
Great food and music. Fat Matt's has not only the best ribs in town but also a great blues band to make your barbecue experience even better.
I seen this restaurant on food network so I had to come try it. I drove from abbeville SC just to come eat cause it look good on TV. When I got there I ordered over 50 sum dollars worth food. I couldn't enjoy my food because I got sauce for rum beans. I paid all that money and got home was pissed off just ruin my dinner and drove that far for sauce Nah. I waist slot of money coming there
Never trust a skinny cook! Fat Matt tells a greater story. Excellent ribs and BBQ. Some days I wish it were closer than 29 mi away. But, if it were closer, Matt would have me much fatter. Really good Brunswick stew too. Try it for yourself, but know that it's addictive.
Tried Fat Matt's today (3/24/17) for the first time, all I can say is......I'll be back!! My rib/chicken combo was delish!! :-) I wish they had a location in Marietta, Ga.
Three of us had same pork sandwich with different sides, all excellent. The staff is so friendly coming around and asking if you need anything, refilling beverages, taking empties, etc.. Always a treat to come here.
Great BBQ ribs and local hot spot! Lucky we only had a short wait!
Really Good Ribs and Collards and Live Blues.. Little tight on seating but you can't have everything..
