I had a preventative procedure done, using a topical ointment. When I went to CVS, they said the bill was $600. CVS, to their credit, advised me to appeal to the insurance company for approval. This would have lowered my bill substantially. YIKES! What a hassle. I delayed this wrestling match for a few days. Much to my surprise, CVS called me back a few days later and told me that Farmington Dermatology spoke to Anthem, and negotiated approval. Payment was less than $25. I've been a patient of Dr. Waqar's since she opened and her professionalism, knowledge, and skill are far above any dermatology I have seen in the past. I also have 2 daughters both suffered with acne beginning young. My oldest saw several dermatologists with no relief until we met Dr. Waqar. She knew exactly how to treat her skin and cleared my daughters skin quickly. Thankfully she prevented scarring and allowed my daughter to finish up her teen years without hiding her face behind make up and hair. Thank you Dr. Waqar.
I have been seeing Suzanne Kamal for a couple of months now regarding my skin and she has really helped me get it under control! I don't even breakout any more! I would recommend her services to anyone :)
Dr. Waqar has gone over and above, compared to some other medical providers I have gone to. She spent extra time with me and really took the time to listen and talk to me. She is very gentle, compassionate and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her.
