Truthfully I would give this restaurant a 0 star rating if it were available. The TL;DR review is that my sister and I flew to DC for a day trip and made it a point to eat here, only to wait 25 minutes after being seated to be denied service because of my common nut allergy. Slow service and unreasonable allergen policies. Love love love this restaurant! Best of all our waiter Gabriel was awesome! We were surprised to hear he only works there a few weeks. He was very informative about the menu. We love everything we ordered especially my brussal sprout salad. Can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing from beginning to end. Great atmosphere, good service and fantastic food. The crab dip and belly pork appetisers were amazing, as were the rib entree Wish I Lived 3500 miles closer! Good value also �
We came in for restaurant week tonight and experienced the worst service we have ever experienced. Our meal, which started at 4:30 pm, when the restaurant was barely occupied, took 2 1/2 hours - averaging 50 minutes per course. We were asked for our order nearly as soon as we sat down, before we had a chance to look at the menu, and were not approached again to order for over 30 minutes. This was my first time, and I went on the recommendation of a friend. I don’t know if I ordered all the wrong food, or if there really is a flavor issue. I got the chicken tenders dinner entree, because I love fried chicken, onion rings, and street corn. The “street corn” was largely flavorless, and what little flavor was there was not complimentary.
