I was so sad to see my loan get sold to Fannie Mae. I have paid extra toward principal every month since I’ve had the loan in order to have the PMI removed as soon as possible. When my loan-to-value ratio fell below 78%, I was forced to still pay the PMI until the loan-to-value ratio reached 75%. Now that I’ve hit 75%, I’m told that my house value has depreciated based on an illegitimate BPO. Why do you still require payment for BPO appraisal to cancel PMI? The housing market is hot right now...there should be a waiver for this when it is very unlikely for a home value to have declined over the past few years. Feels like a money grab.
Tried to buy a house from them. It was a foreclosure they agreed to fix lender required repairs which turned out to be a water heater. Then when the time came they refused then they refused all settlement fees instead of the customary 50%. Bottom line every expense falls on me on a house that we agreed to pay 1000 under appraisal. Beware!!!!

We were on the verge of foreclosure-husbands business took a turn for the worse. Our mortgage broker have us 4 weeks to take a deal- a trial period that lasted 3 months and then our payment would go down about 400. We both got jobs and agreed to these terms.
