This shop is nice inside...that’s the nicest thing I can say...The lady that helped my daughter with her special day never smiled and didn’t seem to enjoy her job...not sure we ever got her name..we were from out of state there to help her look for a dress not necessarily purchase one...my daughter found a nice dress and of course she wanted it..I felt very pushed into helping with this by this sales lady...which is none of her business...it was just so unprofessional and I can’t stop thinking about this experience there...h... read more
I had two appointments yesterday, with fancy frocks being the second. By the time I was done with the first appointment, I didn’t even want to go to fancy frocks because I had such a poor experience. Kim completely changed that!!! She was amazing- explained the difference between dresses that I had no idea about, she pulled selections that met my expectations to a tee, and she was just amazing overall. I am absolutely blown away with Fancy Frocks. I live in Memphis, TN but went in to try on the designer I loved (Mori Lee). They did not have the specific dress I wanted, as I found out because the designer was no longer making it, but Paula worked with me to find a similar dress. She listened to what I loved about the dress I had in mind and was able to find one I loved as much as I imagined the other. I would not recommend Fancy Frocks if you’re looking for bridesmaid dresses. We had a horrible, absolutely stressful experience. For one, they couldn’t get the date of the wedding correct. Two, any time we called to get an update on our dresses we were all told something different from different employees. We couldn’t get a straight answer to save our life.
