I have enjoyed music, friends, food, beverages, and dancing at Famous Dave's in Uptown 4-5 times a month for the last 3 1/2 years. I'm sad to lose the venue that brought us together. Without the swing bands on Monday nights that brought us together, I guess I won't be back. Thank you to Chris, Dana, and the rest of the staff...you are great!
Live music was the primary reason I enjoyed coming to Famous Daves. Open Jam with Moses Oakland was my favorite night.
Very sad mistake, this has been a tradition which brought myself, my family and many others to both enjoy the Jam and eat lots of BBQ. It became a Sunday night tradition for us. SAD very SAD. If someone in management there reads this and takes your customers opinions seriously, please reconsider your decision! And yes, there are other places for BBQ and good people!
Battle of the bands finale. Omg, Southern Cookin' Band hands down! We almost had to leave after "The Jelly Project", very annoying! Food was ok, service ok....
