Good but... not Nashville – Famous Dave's is great BBQ... however, it is still a glorified national chain BBQ. The food is good, espically since you have a choice of sauce (Devil's Spit). I recommend having the Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich, Memphis Style (with cole slaw on the sandwich)... but that is the crux. Famous Dave's does an excellent job of combining the better tastes of smaller southern BBQ restraunts. The atmosphere just is not there
absolutely the best! – 7 types of BBQ sauce on the table for you to choose from, corn muffins that melt in your mouth, first timers should try the "feast" which gives you an opportunity to try several items (yes, you'll take some home). Also, the BEST margaritas in town!
best darn ribs on the planet – famous dave's is the most wonderful place for your family and friends. From the greeting you get when you enter to the service and farewell when you leave.(and you don't want to leave )There's isn'ty a bad choice on the menu.The st. louis style ribs and texas beef brisk will be your favorites and well as mine.the staff is like a big family, everyone doing there best to give you the friendlyest experience you'll enjoy time after time
THERE IS NO BETTER BBQ AND RIBS IN TOWN. CATFISH IS AWESOME TOO !!! THE EMPLOYEES THAT WORK THERE ARE WAY TOO NICE (IF THERE IS SUCH A THING) BBQ, RIBS & FRIENDLINESS ARE UNBEATABLE BY ANY OTHER IN NASHVILLE ALL MUST VISIT !!!
A PERFECT 10 – JUST ATE AT FAMOUS DAVE'S MUST SAY THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD. BEST RIBS I HAVE EVER HAD! SOME OF THE BEST AND FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT ANY RESTAURANT! IF YOU HAVEN'T I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU VISIT TODAY !!!
BEST BBQ IN NASHVILLE – Being a Memphis native I was somewhat sceptical about my first visit to Famous Dave's. But from the great atmosphere to the hospitable service and not to mention the the out of this world BBQ. I was hooked and have go back weekly to get my fix.

THE BEST SO FAR – I MOVED HERE TWO YEARS AGO, BEING BBQ LOVERS, THE FIRST THING THAT WE HAD TO DO WAS FIND THE BEST BBQ IN TOWN. WE'VE STILL BEEN LOOKING FOR TWO YEARS BUT AS OF THIS PAST MONDAY, MEMORIAL DAY WE FOUND IT! WE TRIED FAMOUS DAVE'S FOR THE FIRST TIME AND EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING! GREAT RIBS – This restaurant has the best ribs I have ever tried. I am a big rib fan, some of my buddies and I have a BBQ team and we compete at Memphis in May every year. (We always enter our smoked pork shoulder) Lord knows I have tried my share of ribs from all over the country at this BBQ contest. I remember when Famous Dave's competed at Memphis a few years ago, I can't remember how they did but as far as I'm concerned they should have won if the ribs they are serving today are what they had back then.
