mmm...mmm good! – Okay, so it's not Tennessee BBQ, and yes, it's a chain, but man it's good. The food is delicious, the service is fabulous, the portion sizes are huge, and the ambience is cool. I have only had a problem with my food there once (being over-seasoned) and when I filled out a comment card I was personally contacted about my experience and it was handled wonderfully! Make sure you go hungry 'cause the portion sizes are monstrous! And if you get dessert, you might consider a half-portion!
Best Barbecue I've had to date – While I'm not from the south, I have frequented my share of BBQ joints and Famous Daves lives up to the hype. For those who say it's a sellout chain, that couldn't be farther from the truth! There are 5 family-owned restaurants in all, and the food is top notch. A huge selection of BBQ and sides will make anyones mouth water, and the service and atmosphere will make you feel right at home.
Best Q in Nashville – Never a bad meal at Famous Daves. This is by far thes best BBQ in Nashville.
AMAZING – I went to the Famous Dave's near Nashville, TN while on a road trip to Texas, and all I have to say is this. It was the best, most amazing, delicious resturant that I have EVER been to in my ENTIRE life. The wait was a little long because it was 5 o clock on a friday night, but it was sooo worth it! We're going back to TN this summer just to go eat there again.
OUT OF THIS WORLD! – I'm in the Air Force and recently was relocated to Nashville. This was the first place my co-workers took me to eat. The staff is outstanding, the food is outrageously delicious and the atmosphere is great. Famous Bob, the manager, comes around to your table to make sure you're pleased... but there's never any doubt that your server is being sweet and the food is always going to be the best you'll find in this area. WORTH THE WAIT – HAD TO WAIT ALMOST AN HOUR!!! BUT THE BEST RIBS I HAVE EVER HAD !!! I HAVE LIVED ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, HAD RIBS IN MEMPHIS, KANSAS CITY, CHICAGO, BIRMINGHAM . . . NEVER HAD RIBS LIKE THESE! THE EMPLOYEES ARE BETTER THAN I HAVE EXPERIENCED AT A LOT OF OTHER PLACES TOO. GREAT RESTAURANT!
Favbulous BBQ!!!! – Of all the reviews of this restaurant, I only see 2 negatives, and I can honestly say that these people truly don't know real BBQ. They are probably used to the oven baked vinegary based bbq known for this area, which is not true BBQ. Absoloutly the best I have ever had. That includes the Ribs, the GA Pulled Pork, the Beef Brisket. I have tried it all.
