The cutest birth center around! Quaint, quiet, relaxing and comfortable. Best of all though are the midwives and their apprentices; awesome group of people!
My experience with the Family Birth Center was incredible. Although I was unable, in the end, to birth at the center, Amber, Galyn and Stephanie were with me every step of the way in the hospital. Without their presence, support and knowledge I would not have been able to labor like I did in the hospital. The relationships I formed with these women were life changing and I have such a love and appreciation for them, their practice and their work. And to this day, I miss them!
After a hospital birth with my first daughter, my husband and I both knew we wanted to use a midwife for our next baby. We are so happy we chose the Family Birth Center! Each appointment felt like we were visiting close family/friends. We never felt rushed, and we always felt comfortable to ask questions. I birthed both of my sons with the Family Birth Center, one at the center and one at home, and had awesome experiences with both! The midwives are very warm and personable. I felt comfortable with them from the start and am so grateful that I had their constant support. They were available for any random concerns or questions through text or phone. I would recommend them to anyone!
I had the best natural birth experience with Amber and the other trained midwives, Galyn and Stephanie-- a successful VBAC!!! And now I'm preparing to have my third baby at the birth center as well. They are knowledgeable, skilled and truly care about you and your baby.
I found out we were pregnant with our second child after deciding to relocate to New Braunfels . I used a midwife for my first birth and was looking for the same level and care . I am so thankful for the Family Birth Center . The ladies made me feel very comfortable and confident . I couldn't have imagined doing it without them . If your looking for a high level of care with and a natural experience this is the place .
I love Amber and Galyn! I've worked with both of them as a midwife and they both offer a calming presence and at the same time are strong in the art of caring for women and their families. I highly recommend Family Birth Center.
