RecommendedI was a first time mom new to the natural birthing space, but Galyn and Shelby made me feel very confident in my ability to birth this baby! I had a successful delivery to a baby on the larger side in the midst of COVID-19, and that was due to Galyn and Shelby's patience with me as I labored. I highly recommend the Family Birth Center if you're looking for qualified professionals and a peaceful setting!
my experience is not your typical planned home birth with midwife story... mine is a little more like planned hospital birth w/doula turned home birth during covid story. when my second pregnancy decided to come fast and furious a planned hospital birth quickly turned into an in labor decision for home brith. Words cannot describe how fortunate I feel to have found Galyn at Family Birth Center. I switched from a “traditional” OB/hospital birth to Family Birth Center around 30 weeks pregnant. My only regret is not making the switch sooner. The level of care I received at each prenatal appointment goes above and beyond the care I received at my OB. We absolutely loved our entire birth experience from the start of our care at Family Birth Center to the end! The entire team was so attentive to my baby, husband and I through the entire process. Our midwives are truly gifted, loving and dedicated. Galyn and Briana helped us through the amazing and unforgettable journey of pregnancy and my first VBAC. I found out I was expecting my 3rd last year. I had one hospital and one home birth before. I knew I wanted to do another home birth Galyn was so accommodating to my situation. All the ladies worked with me so I always knew who would be there on the big day. When time came Briana and Juliet helped me welcome my beautiful daughter. I have had 2 hospital births and one birth at the Family Birth Center cottage! It was the most amazing experience. Galyn was amazing and made me feel some comfortable. I really wish I would’ve been able to have my other 2 exactly like this 💜 I HIGHLY recommend them and their team. Before, during, and after they’re there for you every step of the way!
