The receptionist and nurse were polite but I’m really discouraged because I hardly ever go to the doctor unless it’s excruciating pain or sickness and There’s something really wrong with my lower back and I can’t move around or do simple tasks or even work and all the doctor did was tell me I need a primary doctor and she acted like everyone who comes in there for pain is a drug addict for pain pills. I just wanted answers or maybe an X-ray to actually see what’s going on with my back . Waste of time and money .

I had an extremely disappointing experience today. I have severe asthma, which is clearly documented in my chart, and the nurse refused to prescribe me albuterol. She implied I might “use it for something else,” which was not only inappropriate but made it seem like I had some kind of drug issue. She then told me to go back to my hometown in Columbus to get treatment. If I were home, I wouldn’t be in Norfolk urgent care asking for help. When I got there there were 3 people at the desk. They were having a discussion of some sort and not one of them acknowledged that I was there. When the other 2 ladies left the receptionist still took a minute to ackowledge me then she finally asked me if I'd been helped? Obviously not. The nurse was great. I think her name was Leah. She was friendly and quick. I wasn't impressed with Jessica. She was dismissive and talked over me. I won't be going back there.
