I will start off by saying working with Fairway was a mistake. I first sent in my inquiry and got a response from a few different agents and phone numbers (it blew my phone up like spam). I replied to one and the name of that agent was Peter. He started off the conversation with automatically trying to get me to apply. I told him that I had some general questions first before letting them run my credit. We had a few exchanges back and forth, he answered my questions very short and not detailed. I'm giving 1 star because it will not let me choose none, what I want to know is an fha appraiser got chosen and paid to a company that closed its doors in 2009? RESPA SETTLEMENT PROCEDURES ACT, COMPLAINT FILED PREDATORY LENDING ACT I WOULD LIKE the person that called me this summer to explain this one, and 2, how the borrower got to select title company but never did and who did select the title company named in the complaint? I have already submitted a complaint about my specific mortgage broker. Fairway's response was inadequate. The person that originally contacted me basically said that it (it being all the poor practices from Fairway's associates) didn't matter because my house closed. This doesn't negate the awful and needlessly stressful process that the Fairway associates put me through.
