Brycen ******helped us buying our home in a different state than we were currently living in. This could have easily been a very stressful process but he made it seamless. this is the worst company we have ever had to deal with om building a house. I never had to send out so paperwork for a house and its not our first house. Brycen straight forward that he didn't trust our word but we had to trust him and his word that he wasn't screwing us over. and then he waits till the week are suppose to close on our new house to do the appraisal which should of been done right after the contract with seller.. but as soon as rates go back done we are changing mortgage company and never hear or see this co... read more

Disgusting company to work with on trying to buy a house. DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS COMPANY!! First off, I attempted to buy a house last year in Hickory and Andrea K******(NMLS #*****) was the loan officer. The house I had under contract for an FHA LOAN got an appraisal. This lender did not even check the appraisal or skim over it, THE HOUSE DID NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR AN FHA LOAN! The ELECTRICITY was not even on! Shelby B****** and her team at Fairway are incredible! I have never met a lender who goes so far beyond what is called for, and I can't imagine ever working with anyone else. We were competing with cash offers that promised to close really quickly, but since we had already been pre-approved through their underwriting team, we closed in two weeks! Fairway Independent Mortgage Co employees treated me terribly as a 1st time home buyer by surprising me <1 month before closing with the need to provide a 10% down payment instead of the average 3.5% that was expected and my interest rate changed from 2.875% to 3.375% because of our contract expiring before closing due no fault of my own (The processing paperwork was not completed which involved their company).
