I took my 15 year old daughter in to the ER yesterday. She had her tonsils removed on Friday and was struggling with her recovery. I took her in for pain and dehydration. The nurse that put my daughters IV in was so kind and patient. My daughter has a great fear of needles. I told the nurse this and the nurse went the extra mile to help my daughter so that she didn't experience as much pain. She made my daughter so comfortable. Wow!!!' My daughter took an unfortunate fall at our hotel this weekend during a quick fun night away but had a fabulous experience at Fairview Ridges ED. We were in and out in two hours ....walked up to the check in desk, were immediately taken back to a room and seen by staff within minutes. The only reason we were there so long is that it took 40 minutes for the numming gel to take affect before Dr. Farnan could stitch Anna up. Everyone was friendly and so professional! It's fine. Separate or together seating . Plenty of space. A TV. A phone for the hearing impaired. Gaurd at the front desk. A cleaning lady came through. Hand sanitizers at the entry, exit. Nice workers.

The nurses and Drs were EXTREMELY kind and respectful. I had go to Urgent care, then tranferred to ER. They had a bed waiting for me and took excellent care of me. They went through the process of elimination to figure out my issue, all the while keeping me pain free. I hope no one ever "needs, the ER, but if you do, go to Fairview Ridges at Burnsville!
Took my son there last night he had a fever I couldn't get to go down. The waiting room was super busy but they triaged us pretty quick and gave him some ibuprofen to help with the fever cause they knew it would be a little wait. As soon as we got back to the room the ER doc was there and he was super nice and made my son smile even though he was feeling like crap. He also listened to everything in had to say without cutting me off and actually seemed to genuinely care about us. He had tons of very helpful information for us... read more
