On hold 20 minutes and counting just to talk to scheduling. Was not like this with Healtheast.
Business response:
Hi, Lynn. We're sorry to hear you had to wait. The HealthEast scheduling line is the same as it was. What's changed is our call volume is substantially higher because of the pandemic. We appreciate your patience.
I waited for over an hour past my appointment time. Impersonal doctor and staff. The doctor advertised pharmaceuticals without any need for them whatsoever (daily anti-histamine to prevent ear pain from possible allergies, even if I never had any allergies... really??!). I went for a ear check after years not going to a doctor. Nothing was done other than checking the ears. Two minutes visit. Instead of coding that as physical checkup they coded it as a full office visit and cost me $305. The service I received is not even r... read more
Business response:
We're sorry to hear you weren't satisfied, Rossana. As a non-profit, we can assure you that the only reason we'd recommend an over-the-counter medicine or any treatment is for the benefit of our patients. The clinic manager would gladly discuss any of the issues you've raised, including the difference in billing between a preventive checkup when you're well and an office visit when you're not feeling well. She can be reached at 952-447-9528.
Does this employee reflect the values of your establishment?
Business response:
Hi, Savannah. Racial discrimination is a serious issue in the communities we serve. Every person deserves respect. Every person is worthy. And we’re committed to healthcare that is free from bias. Those are our values. You can read more here: https://www.mhealth.org/blog/2020/june-2020/m-health-fairview-creates-hope-commission-to-continue-health-equity-efforts
It truly saddens me to have to bring this racist post to your attention. I am hoping that this employee isn’t someone that shares your views of African Americans. I don’t think anyone of color should feel comfortable having her do anything dealing with their medical care! This is so disturbing, as specially since we thought your hospital was for the people and stood with Black lives and all lives! I hope to hear from you soon so that I know this is an establishment I can trust my Black family and loved ones to come for help!
Business response:
We stand with all people of color, Marilyn. Discrimination is a serious public health issue, so we thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re committed to healthcare that is free from bias and recognizes every person as worthy. You can read more about our work to address these issues here: https://www.mhealth.org/blog/2020/june-2020/m-health-fairview-creates-hope-commission-to-continue-health-equity-efforts
I have seen way too many mexical.professionals with this lady's racist attitude! I pray you do something about this and are ensuring the safety and proper medical care of ALL your patients. Disgusting
Business response:
The safety of our patients is paramount, and we're committed to providing healthcare that is free from bias and recognizes each person’s individual experiences. We recognize that racial discrimination is a serious public health issue that directly affects the people in the communities we serve, so we take this complaint seriously. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
My girlfriend had our baby here just over a month ago. She is now experiencing some stomach issues, and when she called about it they scheduled her an appointment for today because it may be serious. Oh, but she can't bring our 1 month old son with her! Yes, they expect her to leave our 1 MONTH OLD son behind, on a few hours notice, because she should see a doctor today. So is she just supposed to leave him in the car or something? I mean, seriously! These people are medical professionals with years of schooling, but they do... read more
Business response:
The limitations on who can come into our clinics and hospitals are designed to protect our patients and caregivers and to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community. We know that can be inconvenient, especially in your case with a new baby. Your son is a precious gift, and we want to do everything possible for his safety!
Wonderful place and I am so grateful for my care team. The communication is fast, professional, and caring. The difference between M Health Fairview and what is available in my hometown is like night and day.
Getting in to see a physician during covid is impossible. This is terrible. I should be able to have someone check my ear
