I had a quick appointment to get a medical form signed by the physician, the receptionist I dealt with was lovely over the phone as well as in person, and I have no complaints whatsoever about this medical office. Thank you again!
Dr. Smardon does not seem to have signed up for the new BC longitudinal family physician (LFP) payment model which allows family physicians to be compensated for spending extra time with patients, especially those with complex needs. Note added (January 5, 2026): This no longer seems to be a problem. Service is fine.
I just had the WORST experience i think ive ever had in my life with someone on the phone. If i could do 0 stars, i would. Calling to renew my 80 year old grandfather's prescriptions before the new year and get their voicemail - which you can BARELY understand because the woman is talking so fast, mumbling and stuttering. I guess she states the machine doesn't take voicemail, wouldnt know !
