I have stayed in a lot of hotels, but this was by far the most disgusting experience I’ve ever had. I’m horrified. On my first night, I slept in a bed that felt damp and wet. I assumed the sheets had not completely dried after being washed. The next morning, I discovered the truth: the mattress pad had clearly been soaked with urine from a previous guest and, instead of replacing it, housekeeping simply flipped it over and remade the bed. It's a decent place but watch for hidden charges. Beware of hidden charges. They charged us for a broken closet door that was broken the moment we walked in.
Typically I always enjoy staying at Marriott properties, but this time our first room the AC was so loud it vibrated, and the floor was soaking wet around it. We were finally able to get moved into a different room, the lady at the front desk was accommodating, there was just an issue with lack of rooms available. The second room which was on a maintenance hold because it was missing a light bulb had a strong mildew smell. Overall I wasnt impressed with the rooms and we probably wont stay there again. I had an amazing check in experience with DeAndrea she was very polite warm greeting when we entered the building. My husband and i had a short stay but going forward it will be my top choice. The breakfast looked amazing and it tasted just as good. I was so happy we picked such a great location. Beach was a 4 minute walk with a private entry provided by the hotel. The pool area has a small view off a lake. So many large turtles swimming and even medium size alligator. Don't worry very safe from the wildlife. Just a very pea... read more
