Amazing selection of fresh fish. The best smoked salmon and smoked trout in the city.
Last week I went to Fair Catch Fishmongers to buy Matiz Sardines in Lemon. They had eight tins and I bought them all. The first three tins I tried to open, the key ring broke off and I had to use a screwdriver to get the lid off. The third tin caused a gash on the top of my hand near the thumb. It bled and is in the healing process. I wrote a letter to the distrubutor in BC and have heard nothing. I took the remaining tins back to the store for a refund. Très bon saumon sauvage
Stopped by on my way home today as it was the nearest fish monger to my location. They had my favorite fish - Arctic Char, and I could tell it was super fresh. Friendly and welcoming service and delicious fish at reasonable price. Needless to say, the fish is now all in mine and my family's bellys :). Will be back for sure when I'm in the area.
