awesome couples services – The attention to details and the attentive, personalized service made this spa a great choice for a couple spa package treatment. FOR MEN: They are going to ask you to wear a bikini and it doesn't matter if you are a hairy guy, a fat guy, you will not be made to feel out of place. The staff is so discreet and professional; you will be happy with your treatments.
Depends what you get – I received a generous birthday gift, which I used in November 2009 for a 30min massage, mani-pedi, and facial. My facial was wonderful. Very relaxing, and extremely restorative to my tired skin after 5months of running outside training for a marathon. I would recommend this highly. My massage was so-so. Really more of just kneading my skin, but not at all theraputic, and a bit annoying. I try to get massage once or twice a month while training, and this massage did not come close to those. calm, soothing spa with many choices and specials – This is a really beautiful and comfortable spa located on West 57th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. I have been a loyal customer of Faina's since 1995. The staff is very friendly and nice and my favorite thing is the European Deep Cleansing Facial. The most amazing spa – I had a wonderful couple's package at Faina's European day spa.We had the the Full Body exfoliation .The Treatment left our skin smooth and my body refreshed and softened. then we also had aromatherapy Full Body massage for 1 hour , luxurious Facial, hand and Foot Treatment, champaign and chocolate.We had a great time and the service's were amazing and the staff was super nice.We would like to thank everyone in the spa. we will come back soon. scorpio
Cut my facial short – I went to Faina during the October Spa Week so this review may be a bit overdue but I feel like I need to share: While the vacilities were nice and clean and and my facialist was very sweet, I would not go back because they gipped me. The treatment was supposed to be 50 min long and they shorted me by ten minutes. I arrived five minutes early and they started on my facial on time so ther was no reason for them to finish on me ten minutes early. Expert Facial Care – Faina , the owner, was trained the old fashion way - to do things right. She takes her time and you know that you are getting a thorough facial with the best products and her gentle, firm touch. I go to no one else.....over 15 years.
