It's a rip off! – I have been to many day spas and resort spas in Manhattan and elsewhere, and this was by all means the worst spa experience ever. This is a rip-off. 4 different women came in and out of the treatment room, and in between I was left unattended for total of 25 minutes out of the 60-minute treatment. They didn’t even check my skin type or skin condition. Excellent Care! – I've been coming to this Spa for approximately 30 years. I've seen the transition from few services to many accommodations for those patrons who want a relaxed and thorough treatment. The facial is something that I particularly enjoy because of Faina's soft and caring procedure as well as her advanced. I recommend this spa with no hesitation.
You tryed the rest! Now go to the best!! – I have to been to spas before to get a facial. When I went to Faina European Spa the experience was like no other. The service I had done was a European Deep Pore Cleansing Facial. It was great the Esthetician was very friendly and she explained in full detail what the procedure is and what the outcome will be. Ok Services – I went in for a glycolic peel/facial. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the person providing the facial was friendly and professional. However, I felt that she was trying to upsell services that I didn't really need. When she did my peel I was shocked that she left it on my face for at least 7-10 minutes, I never had a glycolic peel stay on for longer than 1-2 mintues - which lead me to beleive it wasn't really a glycolic peel. Hello, Dimples516, We at Faina European spa having been doing glycolic peel treatment since it has been on the market 15 years. We can assure you that we are using the highest percentage of glycolic acid approved by the FDA for the spa. By the protocol Glycolic Peel suppose to stay on the skin for 10 minutes for the best results unless its the first time or skin is very sensitive. a gret place if you are feeling stressed – I went in for a body scrub and massage, and loved every minute of it! My skin felt very soft afterwards, and it was so relaxing. They take very good care of you. I'd had a very long, very stressful week and decided to pamper myself. I had never been to Faina and decided to give it a try, and it was one of the better ideas that I've had in awhile. I definitely plan on returning and trying out some of their other services!
Spa Week Experience – I went to Faina this week as I wanted to take advantage of the $50 spa week special and at the same time, test this highly commended spa. I received a 25 minute aromatherapy body scrub and a 25 minute massage. While worth the price, these treatments left me wanting more! I had never received a body scrub before, so I have nothing to compare it to. Great Spa – My boyfriend and I went to Faina’s Spa today. We had a couple package that includes facials for both of us, body massages and champagne with chocolates. I had a facial with Vicky and will definitely go back again. She is so caring about skin and very knowledgeable. I have some problems with my skin and she knew all about the condition and how to treat it. I felt like I was in great, caring hands. Great experience at a wonderful NY Spa. – My husband and I visited the spa today and were very impressed with the customer service and treatment we received. The couples massage was really enjoyable and therepeutic. We also had champagne and chocolate after our massages. The spa was very clean and comfortable and the people working there were very nice. I would recommend this to everyone! It is a true treat.
Great Service but Invest in Walls – I went to Faina day spa and created my own package: facial, scrub, massage, and wrap. I must say that the service was impeccable on all accounts - there were two people that worked on me and they both did fabulous jobs.
