Relaxing spa treatment – I went to Faina's on the first day of the Spa Week specials (10/2010) and had a very relaxing time. The atmosphere was professional and calm, and my European massage was excellent. I didn't feel rushed, the room was quiet, music was calming and the massage therapist was excellent, applying just the right amount of pressure, as requested. By the time I left, I felt like a limp noodle and wished I could just be beamed home rather than having to go outside to busy NYC.
Lovin It – I came to this spa as a gift from a special friend of mines. They treated me to a 60 min full body massage and a 60 min facial. When I arrived they were ready to start right away there was no waiting. Which is what I liked. I started with my massage the massage therapist was awesome. Best value for your money – Faina European Runs a Spa week promotion once in a while where you can enjoy services at discounted prices. They are usually very booked, so make sure to make your reservation in advance.
worst facial i ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – I had the worst facial ever at this place. everything is rush and you dont feel relax at all. They dont take time to heal your face after the facial. My face was still bledding from the rough european facial i had but they did not care or they were too busy to taking the next customer. i was told that the time is up and the facial is over. We do not see how this particular individual could have left our spa with any kind of "bleeding". As anyone who has ever had a facial will know, no spa will ever use sharp instruments on the face.We are not a medical office and cannot scrape or cut the skin. A person with a sensitive skin may have redness of the skin from the extraction, which will generally disappear within a couple hours. A pleasant and relaxing experience – I very much enjoyed my experience at Faina European Day Spa - they started my appointment on time and were very attentive to my needs. The massage therapist and aesthetician both explained things to me and asked for feedback as needed during my appointment. My facial was thorough and my skin is baby smooth. ECSTACY!! – I've been here maybe 3 times and everytime it gets better and better. I wish I was in NY more often so I could go. Excellent Sunday Facial – I was at Faina's Spa on Sunday, and it was my first time in this spa, i have scheduled a facial. Vicky was great. she examined my skin, recommended what facial would be nest for me, and explained the treatment step by step. I loved her hands. Would recommend her and will come back for sure.
simply the best – if you are looking for the best look no further then Faina - I am a returning client and I adore this place. I can go on and on about how incredible they are but take my word for it and go check them out. you will not be disappointed.
