RecommendedAfter two cornea transplants I was referred to these wonderful people and after hours of measuring, testing, prodding and moulding I have to give a huge shout out to Dr. Kaufman and her amazing staff at the Factoria Eye Clinic for crafting me a set of custom fit scleral contact lenses. It is an incredible thing to realise that I have not been able to see this well since I was probably 18 years old... I'm now 46....I swear I saw a couple of tears of joy in these new eyes of mine too!
Ok, so I rarely get good enough service to leave these kinds of posts - but Dr. Kaufman and her staff deserve special mention. I was referred to her office by my regular eye Dr. at Optic Gallery in Kent - who also deserve special mention for their care and consideration - they referred me. I have special eye care needs due to a cornea trasplant years ago. So, not only were Dr. Kaufman and her staff kind, pleasant and efficient, but today I went to pick up the kit for my new cantacts. My wife went here for an eye exam and to get her glasses. After the initial visit with doctor Jensen, he gave her a wrong prescription. She had the glasses made from this clinic as well for over 500 dollars. After wearing it for a couple of days, she had severe headache so we decided to go back to the doctor to see if the prescription was incorrect. A couple of optometrists from the front desk told her she needed to wear it at least 2 weeks for her visions to adjust, and so she did. The headache became much worse, and she wa... read more
