Myself, and my daughter have gotten our glasses at Eyeglass World. The staff was so helpful and nice. The lady in training, that did her exam was great, and the young man who took us to the room was a sweetheart. He checked on us when there was a wait for the Doctor, and was very polite. I love Nancy Guerrant, O.D. She is very sweet and thorough. The entire staff are nice people and very helpful!
I live in Louisville but occasionally work in Lexington. I found my self in an emergent need of contacts with an outdated prescription yesterday. I was apprehensive because of the poor rep eyeglass world has in Louisville, but I called and explained my situation. This store was able to get me in quickly, were beyond professional and accomodating, and provided me with a script to account for my stigmatism. I am very, very happy with their service and look forward going back to them for replacement of my glasses soon!
Had a wonderful experience they were so friendly and helpful. So much better than Visionworks.

My only complaint is how long it takes to get my glasses. You advertise same day service, and I’m sure that isn’t always possible but I’ve been waiting 2 weeks. Lenses were ordered on July 11.
Check in and exam were fine. Optometrist was friendly. Picking out glasses was fine but don’t advertise same day glasses when I’m having to wait two weeks to get one pair! Ridiculous!
went today the doctor allowed my 11 yr old in and sent me to the car. after abt 20 minutes of them trying to find my insurance bc ya know an 11 yr old doesnt know that, they then asked me to pay out of pocket. all after enforcing temperature and mask be worn, of which we didnt have. why? bc it's a suggestion not a requirement! I will never be back, they can take their overly priced garbage and shove it.
