Great dr and great office! My only issue is that the dr made me tape my mask on! In Iowa where there isn’t and hasn’t been a mask mandate for some time. Not a fan of masks. Idk if this was his personal choice or mandated by office? Either way, other then that he was a great and knowledgeable doctor!

Thanks for the wonderful comments about the doctor and office. Because we have offices in both Iowa and Illinois and staff and patients travel between both, until Illinois lifts their mandate for healthcare (hopefully 4/18), we're still in masks. Taping just helps not to steam up glasses and equipment, to make testing easier. Thanks for your patience!
I would highly recommend Dr Hansel. He was our family Optometrist for years until we recently moved away. I started having issues with high eye pressures and made a point to return to Dr Hansel. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and personable, but he takes the time to go over test results and explain his diagnosis answering all questions. Also at Eye Surgeons you get a Team of Doctors with different specialties that work together to ensure you are getting the best care. I appreciate the peace of mind!

We do have a basic package at 89.95. ESA strives to provide a quality and caring eye care experience.
Routine annual visit. Dr. Hansel is always attentive, understanding, and clear with his comments concerning the health of my eyes. I hope he stays with Eye Surgeons for many more years. He is a winner.
