My husband and I both had LASIK done in late 2016 with Dr. Nickel. By far, it was one of the best things we've ever done! Every single person that we encountered at Heaton was helpful, cheerful, and we had a great experience.
I loved it there. Everyone was so nice and all my questions got answers.

I have been going to Heaton Eye Associates for about two years now and I have never had a bad experience here. The staff “ that includes everyone “ here are constant professionals at all stages from check in to check out. Just had Lasik done at Heaton in Tyler. The experience was absolutely wonderful. Every single member of their staff was helpful, supportive, and so knowledgeable throughout the entire process! I had all-laser LASIK last week and had 20/20 vision the next day!!! I’ve been in glasses and contacts since I was in 3rd grade, but NEVER again. Dr. Nickel and his staff are absolutely amazing! They talked me thru the entire process, made sure all of my questions were answered and took excellent care of me. They even made my Nana feel comfortable while she waited to drive me home. I wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else! If you have ever considered having LASIK done, call Heaton Eye Associates NOW!! You’ll be glad you did!
RecommendedDr. Heaton did my lasik and he was great! The staff is very friendly and the nurses took great care of me on the day of my surgery.
