First and last time – I stopped in on the way home from work for a quick pampering session and it was anything but. A simple trim turned into an ordeal for me. I have full simple straight hair so you would think it's as easy as it gets but not the case. My hair came out completely frizzle and uneven. There's even a chunk missing on one side. Great Cuts for Men and Women – My wife and I have been going to Vo for a decade. Great service. Central Austin. I have never had an experience like any of the negative reviewers. THis is my go to place for cuts and styles.

this place is a joke – if i could give this place a 0 star rating i would. it's it the alley way of goodwill and looks like it's filled up with stuff they found FROM the alley way of good will. the polish was gooey and thick, the pedicure was painful, the whole place smelled of toxic fumes. not something i wanna endure again.

TERRIBLE! – EH! is still a generous review for this place. I've always passed it living in the neighborhood and decided to stop in one day. Boy what a mistake that was. I should have known considering it was already tucked away in the alley way behind a goodwill. There was a bunch of people standing outside smoking so I had to get second hand smoke going into the place. Once inside you are bombarded by broken english and sales pressure. Only place I go – Heard about this place through a friend of mine. He told me to go see Mickey whenever I had a chance. Mickey has been cutting my hair ever since. I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. Everytime I go in the cut is amazing and he always makes time for me. Expo Salon is AWESOME!

I love this place! Always prompt, always friendly and most of all I'm always satisfied with the cut and color on my hair. Mickey, Vo, and Lily always go out of their way for me and every other customer I see when I am there. I live very far in south Austin but will always travel to Expo salon for all my hair and nail needs.

They Screwed Up My Hair!!! – I have very naturally straight and thick hair that's very easy to handle and cut. Although I'm not a hair stylist I've been told this by anyone who's ever given me a cut. I made an appointment and went to expo excited for a change I went with a smile on my face. The store wasn't anything like I was expecting. What did I get myself into? – The Hispanic woman who did my hair was so busy talking to her co-worker the entire time that I may have gotten in two sentences with her. Which was very unnerving considering it was my first time with her and I was trying to tell her how I wanted my hair. The color solution was dripping and got on my face and she didn't even noticed so I had to wipe it off myself. When she was done she was so rough that my scalp was sore the next day. Never had a problem – I love the people running and working in this salon. Vo, Mickey, Tam and the rest were like family.
