My entire life my friends, family and I have gone to the diner for all different occasions. All of the food is usually delicious and fresh! Sunday night (Monday at 1am) I came in with two friends and ordered the French onions soup like always. It is my favorite soup there and better than most restaurants i have been too. I was there yesterday afternoon. It wasn't my first time. I travel a distance just for the ham steak. It's the best. Our waitress was awesome, Ella! She was very personal.

Called in this morning to place a take out order as we do many weekends. The woman who answered the phone today clearly did not speak or understand English well. I was very patient in listening to what she was asking of me and answering her questions. After 4 or 5 times of repeating very slowly the first part of our order, she stated she could not understand me and needed to get a waitress. the service was absolutely amazing! We got our food within 5 minutes and it was absolutely delicious! Will be returning when we travel back to PA.

We have been patrons for years and have usually enjoyed our food here. Sometimes the service is not up to par. However last night I ordered Cheese Ravioli with meatballs. What was served to me looked like meatballs but didn't taste like meat at all. I told my server and the cashier who rang up our bill but there was no offer to make up for this obvious error. I was very disappointed and will NOT be ordering anything allegedly made from beef again from EFR.
