The dealer contacted me within just a short while - Maybe 30 minutes- unfortunately, the car I was asking about had just been sold that morning. But it saved me a 30 minute drive- so that was very nice.
We took the vehicle to an independent mechanic for an inspection and they found several problems and we decided not to purchase it. When we brought it back to the shop and told them this, they said the mechanic must not have known what they were talking about. The experience was fairly off-putting.
What can I say? Called the dealer about a Crown Victoria that had really low miles. I was told it was in prestine condition nothing at all wrong with the vehicle drove almost 2 hours to see the car wow! First off there was antifreeze sludge on the oil cap and the heater core hoses were missing! That is not a prestine vehicle. Me and my son stopped looking at it at that point. I would not recommend this dealer ever! The only reason I gave the dealership a 1 star rating is they actually had the car.
