Where to begin?  They seem to focus on the wrong issues and laser focus on things unrelated to the most important health reason for admittance.  On the plus side, no wait in the ER.  Which seemed to lead to admittance and a lot of unnecessary testing and prolonged stay.  Doctor had to be reminded a couple of times of why the patient was actually there.    Someone has to pay to keep the lights on, test anything.   Absolutely filthy.  It's run down, dirty walls, peeling paint, stained floors, large areas of ripped off baseboar... read more

Th Exela Health in Irwin charged me 308 dollars for a mammogram .The insurance paid them and to this day they haven't reimburse me. In th past they made another mistake . They billed me for a service that I paid for. They lost the check so I had to drive to my bank to get a copy of the check and mailed to them. Another mistake that they made was about 3 years ago. They sent a check for 75 dollars because of they over charged me. When I deposited the check it bounced. They make to many mistakes always in their favor.

Exela health made several mistakes in their billing. Westmoreland Hospital is joke. In a course of 3 years they made 3 mistakes. I am changing all my medical records to UPMC.

They took my son doctor off of him because he couldn't get there. They would not give him his medicine. He's now in a different hospital and ha cancer . What can I do about that

Having to leave without care after 7 hours in the emergency room when you're sick is inexcusable. No water was a available to people waiting all that time. Staff all over the system are rude. They do not attract good doctors. An Excela cardiac "specialist" failed to notice my sister was in heart failure! I had to go for a blood test 3 times because the staff didn't do it correctly. Surgical Center: I got surgery on my knee and call me a baby add day king, but I have a HUGE fear of needles, especially IVs. I have to say I had the BEST experience when Dr O’Connor from Anesthesiology came to speak to me. She was so caring and understanding and actually offered to insert the IV instead of the nurse. I NEVER even felt a pinch when Dr O’Connor out the IV in. She is simply amazing! The nurses and techs in the pre-op were great. Post-op I felt rushed. My mother just received a bill for $1,400. I gave one star because they really didn’t do anything for my 91 year old mother. And the day she was to come home after a mini stroke she fell out of bed, they rushed her for X-rays and said all ok, she had a bruise on her hip that was so huge and painful. Her hospice nurse gave her lidocaine patches, it’s been weeks and she still wearing them. An absolute sh*t box of inhumanity. EVERYONE from the top down that slaves there is a total waste of space and are lazy pieces-of-sh*t. The below national standard Drs., the fat ass nurses, the jar-headed security goons and even the do-as-little-as-possible so-called cleaning staff.
