Awesome to see the Spruce Goose up close, and being able to sit in the pilots seat once occupied by Howard Hughes. I highly recommend this facility. You won't regret it.
The work and amazing hours people have put in to have all these amazing planes (Including the Spruce Goose) and spaceships. Pretty spectacular.
My father and uncle both worked on the flying boat. My father Ray Wallace was a hydrolic technician and my uncle Charles Jucker was crew chief. There is a picture of my uncle in the photo gallery "top right", he is seated with Howard and another man are standing. The docents were very knowledgeable and interesting to speak to. We particularly enjoyed the cockpit tour.
