Worst Hospital Ever!! Let’s just say my dad (46 year old) died in this hospital due to lack of care and simply not knowing what the hell they were doing! Please please do not go here if you are wanting/relying on a “professional” to do their job! This hospital hires all the inexperienced guinea pigs fresh out of school with little to no experience. RecommendedAll of the staff at Evanston Regional Hospital gave exceptional service to my husband when he needed emergency surgery recently. We were grateful that he did not require a transfer out of state during the pandemic. Our small hospital was equipped and ready to handle his situation. The post op care was phenomenal! We could not have asked for a better nursing team, backed by competent CNAs; and a housekeeping staff that keeps every area pristine. Thank you for all you do for our community.
ERH is garbage. This is the worst health care facility. Do not go here. The health care staff is lazy and disrespectful. Dr. Bruce Meyer is a lazy, disrespectful, incompetent waste of an excuse for a doctor. We waited an hour while sitting and staring at the doctor for my son to be seen in the ER. Their billing is asinine. They never sent us a bill. We called and they had incorrect contact information. We corrected it and updated everything. They still never went us a bill. veterans beware! the hospital does not honor the federal law allowing veterans to utilize local medical facilities per Federal law. I was authorized to use the facilities and they would not bill the VA.
I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude. They took 3 of us in from a rough accident, calling for nurses from other units to help out. They were thorough, kind, and such a help, physically and emotionally. This is coming from two nurses, one ER, and one ICU. I was extremely impressed with how well this ER machine was oiled. No complaints. All nurses and our doctor involved, a big and warm thanks to you. We couldn’t have been in better hands. Continue doing what you are doing!

They keep getting rid of excellent doctors. They’re more expensive than park city.
We had a medical emergency while in Evanston that required an ER visit then admission for several days. Out of many many hospital visits this was the best ever from start to finish. Absolutely everyone was attentive and caring to both patient and family. We were made comfortable both physically and in asking for anything at all.
