Evangeline's exceeded our expectations for our rehearsal dinner party. The food was very good and the service was the best. It is a lovely restaurant and our guests complimented the food and the whole night.

Tremendously long wait while a large party was catered to extensively. After over an hour with no food and no explanation from server, I visited the kitchen and explained that the wait was unacceptable. That apparently woke someone up, and we were finally served. Please... if you are going to serve large parties, don't do it at the expense of the rest of your customers.
Amazing food and atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Even the presentation of the food was beautiful. I totally recommend this place.

Evangeline's has by far the most amazing staff and cuisine. I have enjoyed food at some of the most amazing places in the South and the Eastern seaboard. Evangeline's of Tuscaloosa is definitely one of my top five. Not only is the menu on par, but the staff is the most professional and down to earth as you will find anywhere. My weekends out will be spent at this fine establishment and so should yours.
