We are a specialty outdoor store located in Estes Park, Colorado at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Since 1986 we have been offering equipment, apparel, rentals and guided trips and instruction for all of our favorite activities. We offer in-season inventory as well as closeout inventory. We have a huge rental department featuring camping equipment, climbing equipment, bikes, snowshoes, downhill skis, snowboards and sleds

Rented sleds and boots and let the kids rock climb. Excellent service and hospitality with the kids while teaching them how to rock climb. A+ store. Will return. Good Price points as well. Thank you

Kurt is the absolute best snowshoe guide, rate is reasonable and includes boots, snowshoes, poles and a snack. Transportation to the mountain was provided. The experience exceeded our expectations, loved the fresh snow. Very helpful staff. Request Kurt for an unforgettable experence - you won't be disappointed.

Had a great experience at EPMS. Rented ski equipment one day and did rock climbing another. Staff was terrific! Thanks again to Andrew and Hayden for the climbing assist!

Kind, friendly employees, lotsa stuff, and great prices: perfect! Son and I went rock climbing with one of their guides, Matt L. and had a wonderful experience! Worth every penny, highly recommended.
Booked a snowshoe trip for five of us who didn't even know how to buckle the shoes. Trip options from only needing the guide to the complete outfit: shoes, boots, pants, parka, etc. Nick was great, pointing out geography (gneiss layers, names of peaks, etc.) and helpful techniques for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Store staff were helpful with winter gear, returns, and local events and the like. A well deserved five star rating.
