We are a specialty outdoor store located in Estes Park, Colorado at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Since 1986 we have been offering equipment, apparel, rentals and guided trips and instruction for all of our favorite activities. We offer in-season inventory as well as closeout inventory. We have a huge rental department featuring camping equipment, climbing equipment, bikes, snowshoes, downhill skis, snowboards and sleds

Did a guided rock climbing trip yesterday and a fly fishing trip today. Both were amazing, both of my guides were very patient and helpful being that I had never rock climbed before and had very limited experience fly fishing. My guide for rock climbing let me go at whatever pace I wanted and really helped me out. My fishing guide really took time to explain not only how to do things but why and definitely got me on the fish. I went on a 4 hr guided fly fishing trip with Ryan and it was awesome! I learned so much in just 4 hours and was able to catch some rainbow trout while learning many different casts! Ryan was very patient and helpful, I would recommend Estes Park Mountain Shop to anyone looking to learn how to fly fish!!

My 2nd time in Estes Park, and both times my daughter and I were well taken care by this shop. They have the nicest, knowledgeable, and helpful, staff. Every trip to Estes Park will always include a stop here.

Three of us from Florida had a terrific fly fishing adventure with Matt. We fished the Big Thompson River and at snowy Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. I highly recommend Matt as a guide. He was pleasant, encouraging and patient with the two of us who were new to the sport. Great trip!

We took our kids to the climbing gym today and our instructor was amazing- everyone was very friendly. The place had so much great stuff to look at too.
