We are a specialty outdoor store located in Estes Park, Colorado at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Since 1986 we have been offering equipment, apparel, rentals and guided trips and instruction for all of our favorite activities. We offer in-season inventory as well as closeout inventory. We have a huge rental department featuring camping equipment, climbing equipment, bikes, snowshoes, downhill skis, snowboards and sleds

RecommendedAmazing rental at Estes Park Mountain Shop. From the first call to entering the store we were greeted by friendly and very knowledgeable staff. We went downstairs to rent our bikes and the staff was incredibly helpful. They gave personal recommendations and provided all options. Tucker went out of his way to help us with our bikes, maps and directions. We are so grateful and had a great experience! Hermit Park was a thrill and a rewarding challenge! We will be back for sure!!
While on a family vacation, I took my 2 grandsons (ages 2 and 8) here to use the rock climbing gym. Karen was awesome! She was so patient and really explained things to them. They had a great time. The 8 year old said it was his favorite thing on the whole trip. My daughter and son-in-law also rented bikes and equipment to ride with their young children. We went into this store probably 4 or 5 times in the 5 days we were in town. FL great customer service and prices. People even helped us set up a rig and looked at our own rod. Nice people and informative.
This is such an amazing shop! I've visited when in town and the staff is helpful and nice. I also placed an order for shipping (2 pairs of boots)..they shipped them so quickly, and they sent me a personal email to let me know that my order would be arriving in 2 separate boxes (just so I wouldn't worry if one came before the other). I am so impressed with their CS and highly recommend them!
Me and my wife did a guided fishing trip today and Matt was our guide. Him and the whole staff are absolutely fantastic people. So down to earth and very accommodating.
The knowledge, and down right truly happy to help you. And products that are real good quality. if not they are about the Only place in Estes that stands behind the purchase with outstanding customer service. My children had a wonderful climbing experience. One of my kids had never climbed before and was a little nervous. Austin was the climbing guide and helped both kids feel calm and excited about it. He explained everything that they should do in their climb and was so patient with them. We had an amazing experience and I wanted to recognize how helpful and knowledgeable Austin was. We highly recommend Estes Park Mountain Shop.

Our guide Zion Lea was awesome!! He is full of information on the Rockies. Our youngest really took to Zion Lea. Zion Lea even help carry him down when his little legs were tired.Thanks Zion Lea for a wonderful experience our family will NEVER FORGET.
