I live locally and tried calling to enquire about purchasing a new Nissan X-Trail. I was on hold for five minutes, having pressed the number for sales. I finally spoke to a lady, not in sales, who said she would put me through. A long time later, I hung up! Later today I have committed to purchase an MX5 Mazda from Preston Mazda. A missed sale. Shocking customer service! Don’t go there!!!

ive used them the last few years and had no issue. Recently took the car in as i had dashboard warning signs. Paid $ 200 for a diagnostic. Turns out the new battery required the car to be recoded. Upon leaving the petrol gauge was now faulty. called nissan and made another appt. They expected an additional $ 200 fee to diagnose the problem. My issue is what was the last $ 200 for. We were extremely happy with all the communication we had with Zach, Salesman at Kloster Hyundai, Hamilton. He was very polite, friendly and professional in his duties, there was no ‘pushy salesman’ behaviour we had witnessed at other dealerships when looking at new cars. I recommend Terry Walsh from Norther Isuzu Ute. He made purchasing my new vehicle easy. He kept me updated from start to finish, making sure that all my requirements and delivery date met what worked for me. He has also followed up to make sure that I am not experiencing any problems and that I am happy with my purchase. Great service.
Please avoid this dealership in terms of their after sales service they did not respond to phone calls after my vehicles CVT failed requiring me to escalate the matter to Honda Australia where it was ultimately resolved after many months of difficulty. The vehicle had only ever been serviced through this dealership. I will acknowledge the ultimate customer service received from Honda Australia noting that even Honda Australia advised they could not get a response from the dealership. I am amazed that there are so many positive reviews for this organization. The service department lacks clarity in communication with its clients. In four years of dealing with them, I have found that too many of the staff have a "lay-back" attitude. No surprise when even very senior personnel accuse a customer of trying to get something for free. The attitude flows down through the ranks!
