Safe, great music, awesome drag queens – Many people complain about the employees but as long as you don't show up wasted they're nice. It's a really safe environment and a great place for people who are under 21. The music and lights are awesome. I went there for my birthday with a bunch of friends and I had a blast!
i love it but it is a little pricey – The escape is verry fun i just went for the first time on may 31st, the employees were really nice and let me have my meds (since im epeleptic) i just had to sighn a form saying i was going in at my own risk, lol but otherwise it was a blast, i went with my best friends. it was a little pricey and me and my friends had to wander around downtown portland for two hours but it was the best thing ive ever done for my birthday!!!
ehh,its OKAY. – i've been to the escape two times,and i plan on going evey weekend, but i must admit that the employees are VERY rude and VERY harsh on kids. im bi sexual,and i love going to a place where i can be accepted. its a great music scene and i love the little scene kids. i do recommend going,but dont mess with anyone,and dont dance with the lesbian girls if your a boy,they get really angry,and DO NOT show high or drunk...they will find out and kick you out. Loved it but – I love the escape nightclub but I remember there being more drag queens in the shows. Or at least people that dressed up. but ya Austin and Jackie were really sweet! I love seeing them on stage
Awesome And Amazing – This is my first time message, whooo. There's a -lot- of lights. You lose your sense of everything when you're on the dance floor. You don't even have to really know how to dance, just move your hips and you seem to have it all right. The music was awesome, good beat, and there was quite a few good looking people. Fun nights, bass bumpin, party. – I went to The Escape last night and I must say, I had a lot of fun. The music is bumpin, the people are hot. I do have to agree there are some bitchy drag queens, but what did you expect? It's a good place to just dance and let it all out. They are REALLY against being drunk or on anything, and YOU WILL GET KICKED OUT. Trust me. The bouncers could be a little nicer, but they put up with a ton of annoying people, so I'll give them that. Ugh but yay? – It was a lot of fun but I hated the bouncers - angry trans boys who have a lot of anger to take out and the best way they found is to scream at people. I thought the drinks and the cover charge were a little overpriced, and it was weird for me because I'm not GLBTQ(right order?) but I had a lot of fun with my girlfriend and her friends. HORRIBLE! - They Ruined My Best Friend's Birthday – A friend on mine was looking so forward to going to the Escape for her birthday... As soon as we get there, we pay the fee to get in, we go inside, and we start dancing. Not even 30 seconds later, a very rude female bouncer came up to us and started yelling at my friend, and accusing us of being drunk. The Escape WOW – Okay first of all for all of the people that went to the escape and didn't enjoy it. What did you expect? most of you are in your 20's or 30's or even older.. You need to read about the escape before you go there. First of all it says ALL AGES NIGHT CLUB>< which means that any age or anybody can go. So your bound to be packed with Teens.
