the health care is good for the most part. the handling of insurance and billing is the worst. it seems like a bunch of idiots are who is running the place. medical care at earlanger is just about money and nothing else

My sister had a major surgery and they tried to kick her out the next day. It was the most inhumane thing I have ever seen in health care. She was yelling and screaming in pain. We had to refuse to go get her. We picked her up on the 3 rd day post op. They sent her home without pain medication. She had a rod and cement removed from a previous surgery they did 10 weeks ago and had a bone out of her back placed in her leg. I don't even know what to say. my husband was there for 10 days due to this covid. now I understand that nurses maybe limited time in the room. but why is it that the let my husband get bed sores and noth bathe him in 10 day that he was up there? now he is at home still recovering and now add more hurt on him with these bed sores. this isn't the first time. this is the second time and something will be done about this.

Just wanted to say thanks to the doctors and nurses in the wound and surgery clinic. My brother’s facial injuries and subsequent surgery was well done and a blessing. ❤️
