Awful! I’m a state away and disabled so having trouble getting to my Dad who has had a stroke as a major heart issue. They’ve kept this 74 yo man who had that in the ER for 2 days going on 3 now saying they have no rooms to admit him. The worst part is that I have called twenty plus hours in these two and a half days and either been hung up on or left on hold for 20-30 mins THEN hung up on. Erlanger is trash! If you need care in Chattanooga, chi or Parkridge are way better options. I had the worst experience at Erlanger east ER (which I’ve previously posted about), they recently treated one of my family members in the worst possible way (which i wont Even go into other than to say he was put in a tiny room for over 24 hours with a stroke scare), i was just sent here for an outpatient x-ray and it’s been over 24 hours with no radiology report, and my daughter recently went to children’s hospital and they billed ... read more
We went in for a sprained ankle and waited from 9:30 pm until 3am to get 2 Xray and be told to go home and rest it. There were people in the ER lobby that had been there for 2 days waiting on anyone to treat them. I watched them roll an elderly woman who said they weren’t sure she wasn’t having a heart attack or a blood clot back into the ER lobby and leave her for hours. 0/5 stars. Do not recommend, I wish I could turn back time and choose a better hospital because this experience has been horrible except for a few good medical staff.
