This is a gem of a golf course and the USGA has done an excellent job preparing for the US Open. Well done
Great course to watch golfers as there are many areas where a person is able to see multiple holes from a single spot.
My favorite course in the planet so far. Better than Pebble. Great people, unbeatable stay and play experience, great food and setting. As good as it gets. Anywhere.

It was an awesome experience. Course was beautiful, and it was nice to see the golfers interacting with the kids.
I was enjoying this new style of course though calling for a different approach. That's where Erin Hills will gain its cred this week. Whilst superfluously wide and wavy, the fairways are surprisingly fast and firm causing your ball to bound and scarper for miles further than you might expect. Pile in an overall length of 7,741 yards - the longest in U.S. Open and major championship history and I foresee a whole new game going on @Erin Hills Golf Course.
Very impressive golf course, the history benighted makes this place unique.
