Majestic and inspiring. The Open prairie land makes for some difficult holes. Nothing like it.

My husband and I visited yesterday out of curiosity and to check out the merchandise. The place looks beautiful and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. The selection of goods was amazing and, even though we are not golf fans per se, we still ended up $100 lighter. Looks like everything is organized well and concession selection and prices reasonable. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Amazing Golf course and staff. Be prepared for a walk. Course is spread out over about a 8 mile walk. Worth every step.
Three weeks before the Open and the place was "abuzz" with activity. Very polite people as we bought some souvenirs. Cool place!
